Artificial intelligence is everywhere. In particular, it is transforming how we write, edit, and publish our work. This panel discussion, hosted by the Publications Committee of the Biophysical Society, will address the question of when does AI help, and when does it hinder? Panelist will engage the audience in interactive discussion on practical and ethical aspects of AI in scientific publishing. Topics will include best practices for using AI tools to improve writing and productivity, as well as challenges AI poses for the editorial process. Bring your own experiences and opinions: audience participation through live polls will shape the conversation.
